I thought you guys would enjoy this. (and your English General forum seems to lack activity. )
I know a few here follow the Pocket Mini Computer project. (which by the way has a new homepage: http://www.pocketminicomputer.com <shameless plug>) just as I follow the cool stuff you guys are doing with the HIVE project. Lately the PMC project has stalled because there simply wasn't enough resources in a single Propeller to add the cool features I dream about. (Something you guys have discovered a long time ago and designed accordingly!)
So I've been working on a way to expand the PMC using a second Quickstart (very HIVE-like!) and seeing some neat success.
Here's some links to the threads and of course, some photos.

Thanks for being an inspiration! (BTW, the Amigaball/SIGcog demo was awesome!)
If any of you are in the States for August 17th, you are invited to come "Prop-Out" with us at the Propellerpowered Expo in Orrville, OH this year!

Re: Becoming more HIVE every day...
Welcome to the forum Jeff!
I often look at your project, I think, the PMC and Hive ultimately go in the same direction. It's the same idea!

Hey, I can send you a Hive Board...

Ahle2 & kuroneko are wizards for me!

Ahle2 & kuroneko are definitely wizards! PMC owes a lot of it's "eyecandy appeal" to these guys.
I see you guys have gone somewhat GUI based in one of you last videos. Very slick indeed.
You've definitely set the mark high for Pocket Mini Computer.

Re: Becoming more HIVE every day...
Thought I'd post an update to this thread...
We just finished PMC version 4.0 called the Micromite Companion. Like the HIVE project, we've offloaded some of the work to multiple processors, in this case we are using the PIC32 running software called "Micromite" to run the BASIC and an onboard editor. This opened the project up to 54k of free programming space and opened the Propeller to become a dedicated Video-Audio-I/O device.
There's a couple videos on our page that demonstrate the unit.

You guys have set the bar high, but we were recently able to create our own IRC client using those ESP8266 modules in 5K of BASIC.
It looks like we should starting thinking "GUI" interface.. Some of the stuff you guys are doing now with HIVE is nothing short of amazing.

Hi Jeff!
Very nice project.
The Micromite chip is a very interesting processor, especially for BASIC fans like me. When I have more time, I'll take a closer look at the Micromite chip. With your project you have inspired me for an add on board for my small propeller-based computer named MonoProp. This will be a project for the coming long winter evenings.
Good luck with your project.
Greetings
Günter
